Corporate History
The Beginning
Established as "Coal Mine Equipment Manufacturing Cooperative Bolt Factory" in Iwaki, Fukushima, to support local energy infrastructure.
Incorporation & JIS Certification
Reorganized as "Tohoku Bolt MFG. Co., Ltd." in 1950. Obtained JIS certification for Hex Bolts (1954) and Joint Plate Bolts (1957).
Expansion of Network
Opened Tokyo and Sendai Sales Offices (1971). Relocated Headquarters to the current location (1973) and opened Koriyama Sales Office (1975).
ISO Certification
Obtained ISO 9002 (2002) and transitioned to ISO 9001 (2003), establishing a global standard for quality management.
Resilience After Earthquake
Demonstrated remarkable resilience by resuming operations within only three days after the Great East Japan Earthquake.
Innovation & Recognition
Selected as one of the "300 Outstanding SMEs" (2015). Designated as a "Regional Future Leading Company" (2017) and expanded with a second factory (2021).
Excellence in Management
Obtained ISO 14001 and 45001 (2022). Certified as a "Health and Productivity Management Organization" and "Eruboshi (Stage 2)" (2024).
Tokyo Headquarters Relocation
Relocated the Tokyo Sales Office to its current location as the Tokyo Headquarters, strengthening our global business presence.
